Conventional Castables (CC) | Low Cement Castables (LCC)
AGI produces high quality dense, and lightweight castable refractory products. This includes various conventional and low-cement castables, as well as no-cement phosphoric acid and colloidal silica bonded products. AGI has designed industry leaded castable refractories with enhanced toughness, abrasion resistance, and thermal shock resistance.
Low Cement Castables contain a lower amount of cement binder compared to conventional castables. They are characterized by high strength, excellent resistance to abrasion, thermal shock, and chemical attack. LCCs offer superior performance in areas where extreme conditions are present, such as in the linings of high temperature furnaces and kilns.
